Sometimes you may want to add titles in WordPress Menu without linking to a page. For e.g. You may want to add a title for sub-menus without linking it to a specific page or posts. Then you have found the right article. Please follow the steps below to do it the right way.
1) First, go to WordPress Admin Panel, and then navigate to Appearance / Menus. If you haven’t created a menu yet, then you can create a new one. Click create a new menu option as shown in the screenshot below. Now Name your menu and save it.
2) Now do to add the Menu Title. You will find custom links option on the left side. Add your Menu title name and in the URL add ‘#’ sign and click Add to Menu button. Now your menu item will appear in the menu structure.
3) If you want to add other submenus under it, then you can do so by adding pages or posts or any other menu item.
4) Now Click “Save Menu”. The menu title you have added with # sign should now be unclickable and will not be linked to any pages or posts. You can check this on your live preview. There should be no link in the menu item called Title you added above.
